Our Labs can be divided in five major research areas:
- Spectroscopy Labs: in two Labs spectroscopical characterization of samples with linear, non-linear and time resolved techniques can be performed.
- Waveguides Labs: two distinct setups allows for a broad range of waveguides linear and non-linear characterization and analysis.
- Electroluminescence Lab: with its broad capability in electrical and electroluminescence measurements.
- Nanoprobe Lab: equipped with an atomic force and a scanning near field microscope allow for high resolution analysis and for some nanoscale processing capabilities too.
- Chemical Lab: furnished with two fume-hoods, a spin coater, a PC driven electrochemical setup for silicon etching and a glove-box for reactions in controlled atmosphere.
- e-beam Lab: it is composed by a SEM equipped with an electron beam DAC attachment for high resolution lithography.
ALL Labs can exchange light sources, detectors and optical equipment, following requirements needed by experiments to be performed.
