From October 2005 I'm back in CISCA - Presidio
I.T.M. of the faculty of Science of the University of Trento as responsible.
From November 2002 to September 2005 I was the head of the Computer
Networks Laboratory. The Computer Networks Group (NetMob) during this period
was involved in many project and research activities:
From July 2000 to November 2002 I worked at the
CISCA - Presidio I.T.M. of the faculty of
Science of the University of Trento.
Till June of 2000 I worked with the Computer Science Group
(Laboratory of Experimental Alghoritms) in the Department of
Mathematics of the University of Trento.
I was involved in the InterToools
project. I have developed some tools to interface an html front-end to
the code developed by the group.
Other Work Activity
I developed in 1993/95 for the Space
Mechanics Group of the Department of Mathematics of the University of
Pisa, a software package that was able to discover very small asteroids by
automated trail detection. I developed this package on an IBM RS6000
and then I ported it to a parallel environment using an IBM
9076-SP2.
For 3 years I was the System Administrator for the
Project Posso and for the Space
Mechanics Group. Within this groups, I managed many computers: IBM RISC 6000
(AIX 3 and 4), Sun Sparc (SunOS 4), Digital ALFA (OSF1), Intel 486 and Pentium
with Linux.
